“Without Bluebell, it scares me writing this…”
“I can’t put into words how grateful I am for Bluebell. From the moment I came through the doors a broken mess, where Jess comforted me and mentioned the buddy program. From meeting Rachel sitting on my sofa telling me ‘it’s not you, it’s the illness. You won’t feel like this forever’. By that stage I was hopeless, I didn’t think I could be helped. I didn’t see how or why I should get better. I was in a really dark place, constantly crying, constantly snapping, distancing myself from everyone, I had completely given up.
I’ve just finished the comfort zone with Rachel. It scares me when I look back to where I was compared to now. The program has given me tools to cope on bad days. It’s reassured me and hopefully I’ve made some understanding friends along the way.
Without Bluebell, it scares me writing this, I don’t think I’d be here today. Its my second hit of pnd and I didn’t think I was worthy of recovery. From those moments in August of walking through your doors, welcomed, reassured, comforted, Emma being so kind and gentle and Rachel with all her wisdom, you’ve given me a new start. My family and I will be eternally grateful for all you’ve done’’
