Supporting survivors at Kinergy
Kinergy are a specialist counselling charitable agency who support survivors of sexual abuse, sexual violence, or rape. Founded in 1996, they are based in Kingswood in Bristol. They are an inclusive service and support everyone aged 16 and up, regardless of gender, race, or sexuality.
Kinergy offer support through:
– Trauma informed counselling
– Group therapy
– Support groups
– Psycho-educational groups
They aim to provide a safe, accepting and supportive environment for survivors, so they can come to terms with the past, enjoy the present and look forward to the future. All their counsellors either have or are in process of getting a professional qualification accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the National Counselling Society (NCS), or the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP); if you would like know more about your counsellors specific training and qualifications, you are welcome to ask.
They also offer additional services such as room hire and workplace training.
Kinergy is a member of British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and all of our counsellors follow their ethical framework.
