Positive activities cancel out the negative

Full Circle @Docklands is a Youth & Community Centre supporting the local people of St Pauls and their families, and the Young People across Bristol. “The night before one of our activity sessions, there was a misunderstanding with the police which resulted in a young person being arrested. The young person and his family were very distressed, upset and they did not know who to turn to. When the young person and his family were walking through St Pauls, they saw our session, approached a member of staff who was able to provide the young person and his family with the necessary support and information. We were able to work with both the young person and his family. Within a few days, our staff sorted legal representation for the young person, provided a mentor for the young person and encouraged the young person to come regularly to our club and engage in positive activities. This would not have happened but for these sessions.”
