“When Luke first turned up at the build-a-bike course, he didn’t know much about fixing bikes. Couldn’t fix his bike at the first attempt. Had a meltdown. After he calmed down, he apologised and tried working on a different bike. “My Mum’s going to be so pleased if I get this finished today.” He completed the bike and was able to ride it away. His younger brother trashed the bike when they had an argument. But with his new skills, he was able to put it back together again. He now uses it to ride it to school.”
Quartet Community Foundation as facilitator of Bristol Giving Day, invites you to be part of the ‘network of support’. By fundraising through the Bridges Challenge you in turn help Life Cycle UK to support people like Luke.
