Unite Students are getting in early with the Big Bristol Quiz launching on 9 October, 6:30pm at The Trinity Centre.

Bristol Junior Chamber are also anticipating the day, proposing an Informal pitching and networking event on 9 October at 6pm at the Broken Dock restaurant, Millennium Promenade, Bristol BS1 5SY.  Be inspired by guest speaker Mr Andrew Wyatt, a former RAF acrobatic pilot with the Red Arrows. Temple Quay businesses, spearheaded by Bristol Giving Day sponsors Bank of Ireland UK and Burges Salmon are aiming high with Young Bristol’s climbing wall installed in Temple Square on Bristol Giving Day, 10 October.  Businesses will be taking on a climbing challenge, attempting as many ascents as possible in 30 minutes.   Climbers will be energised by music from local charity Changing Tunes too.

Are you a business high flier? Circomedia will be training Bristol’s boldest on the flying trapeze at St Paul’s Church, Portland Square, Bristol BS2 8SJ.  To show you’ve got what it takes contact

Ifamax are showing their “generocity” by offering free financial guidance sessions at their office on Bristol Giving Day.  Ask anything finance related, no matter how big or small, face to face or over the phone/Skype/e-mail. Their expertise is free and they hope people will make a donation to  Ifamax will also match the donations raised during the day. Find out more on their website.

Top and tailing the extravaganza, Bristol Junior Chamber will also be offering an interactive live theatre experience (5:30 for 6:00pm), held within a central international art centre and gallery. Secure your tickets and donate here.
